“Living with Alzheimer’s: For Care Partners” educational series will begin May 10

An educational series of classes will begin on Wednesday, May 10 that is designed to provide tools to take care of yourself and your loved ones.

The series will discuss questions that arise when caring for an individual in the early, middle, or late stages of Alzheimer’s, along with providing tips and strategies for every stage.

All session will begin with a lunch at 11:30 am and will be held from 12 am to 1 pm starting on Wednesday, May 10 and continuing on the second Wednesday of the month till Oct. 11 at the Carolyn Renfro Center. The May 10 session will have lunch provided by Heather Cannon Honda.

The classes will be broken down as such: - May 10: Intro and Early-Stage Caregiving - June 14: Early-Stage Caregiving - July 2: Middle-Stage Caregiving - Aug. 9: Middle-Stage Caregiving - Sept. 13: Middle-Stage Caregiving - Oct. 11: Late-Stage Caregiving Those wishing to participate can RSVP at alz.org/crf or call Alzheimer Association Hepline at 800-272-3900 to reserve lunch and seat for the class.
