The Ponca City Parks and Recreation Department is offering kayak rentals at Lake Ponca this summer. These are rented on a first-come, first-served basis.

Renters may reserve kayaks online at www.poncacityok.gov or at the Boat House.

Rentals are available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Saturday, Sunday and on holidays.

A single kayak rental for one hour is $15 or $45 for the day.

Tandem kayaks rent for $20 for one hour or $60 for the day.

The rental includes kayak, paddle, life jacket and whistle. Renters keep the whistle.

A Kayak Tour is also available this year at the Sailboat Marina at Lake Ponca on Thursdays at 6 a.m. through July 30.

This is for ages 18 and up and costs $30 per session. Reservations can be make online through the end of the month at www.poncacityok.gov/parksandrec-registration.
