The Kay County Commission Candidate Forum will be held on Friday Oct. 23 from noon to 1 p.m. in the City Central Building Summit Room.

Tammy Reese, Chair for Ponca Politics Committee will introduce each candidate: Jason Shanks and Chris DeBoard. Each person will have 10 minutes to speak and the order of speaking will be determined by alphabet of last name, with DeBoard going first, followed by Shanks.

Reese will then ask questions from the audience on index cards and after these questions have been asked, further questions will be taken from the floor if time permits.

Each candidate will answer every question and will have up to two minutes to provide an answer. Ponca City Chamber President Rich Cantillon will be time keeper. There will be no questions of just one candidate and the candidate who answers first will rotate.
