At 11:04 pm on Tuesday, Feb. 28, Ponca City Police were notified of a Code Black (loss of life) at 610 N. 4th. The police logs from that evening indicate that it involved an adult male, but dispatch was unable to understand further. The log stated that the call was later confirmed as a Code Black.

The police logs also later noted that two juveniles had gone to another address after discovering the body, and that officers spoke to the juveniles.

Details are limited as the situation is still under investigation by the medical examiner.
