Inciardi Dancers from Kem’s Gym recently attended the OK-LA (Oklahoma-Los Angeles) Dance Clinic and Showcase in Oklahoma City. Dancers took classes most of the day and some danced in a showcase that evening where they received a rating and awards.

“The Greatest Gift” received a Titanium Award with one of the highest scores of the evening. Sydney Meeker danced the solo. Ave O’Neill and Faith Ballinger were the other two dancers in the trio.

Additional numbers presented by Inciardi students received Platinum awards. A tap dance was danced by Scarlette Cassens, Ruthann Fisher, Tenley Friess, Ashlyn Hoover, Kensley Meeker, Easton Pedersen, and Riah Shepherd; the music was “California Sun.”

Emma Deming, Ruthann Fisher, Aiden Gaston, Emmie Harnden, Yesenia Menchaca and Jaycee Williams presented a jazz dance to “Proud Mary.” Johann Strauss Ballet, a coed number, was danced by Easton Pedersen, Aiden Peck, Rylan Paul and Avery Sattre.

Also, senior dancers from the Inciardi Studio tap danced to “Bop Til You Drop.” Faith Ballinger, Aiden Gaston, Emmie Harnden, Sydney Meeker, Yesenia Menchaca and Ave O’Neill made up the ensemble.

Instructors and choreographers were Cara Kem Cassens and Suzanne Kem.

Claire Lawver and Rea Ann Williams also attended the workshop.
