The Ponca City Gospel Jubilee will be featuring the “The Pohl Singers” this coming Saturday, March 4th at 6:30 p.m. This ministry is comprised of a husbandand- wife team, Leonard and Marina Pohl. Traveling from Pratt Kansas for a return visit to the Jubilee, we know you will enjoy this music ministry. The Pohl’s have traveled for many years going wherever the Lord leads them to share the word in song and testimony. Bringing to stage a great Southern Gospel sound with beautiful harmony and songs that will inspire all. The facility offers a concession stand as well as prize drawings throughout the night, refreshments and fellowship. The second half of the evening you will be blessed by the Live “ Gospel Jubilee Band” . (We ask for a $5.00 offering at the door) . Make plans to join us, we Look forward to seeing you and having a wonderful evening of great music, fellowship and all-around Christian fun.

THS ALUMNI SEEK NOMINATIONS FOR 2023 DISTINGUISHED ALUM The Tonkawa Alumni Association is requesting nominations for the 2023 Distinguished Alumni Award. The recipient(s) will be honored during Homecoming weekend.

The award has been given since 2006 to outstanding THS graduates whose personal lives, professional achievements and contribution to society exemplify the standards of excellence promoted through their education at Tonkawa High School.

Nominations will be accepted until May 1, 2023. Forms can be printed from the Alumni Website at www. tonkawaalumni.com, picked up from the high school office, or completed digitally at the website.

SWEENEY TODD AT NOC MARCH 2-5 The Northern Oklahoma College Division of Fine Arts presents the musical thriller “Sweeney Todd” March 2-5 at the Kinzer Performing Arts Center.

Showtimes March 2-4 are at 7:30 p.m. and March 5 at 2 p.m.

The play is directed by NOC’s Chad Anderson.

Admission is $10 for adults and $7 for students.

There is free admission for NOC students and employees with an NOC ID. Children Under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Content Warning: Sweeney Todd contains strong language and theatrical depictions of violence, death, and physical abuse.

The musical thriller is based on the book by Hugh Wheeler, music and lyrics by Stephen Soundheim. The production is based on an adaptation by Christopher Bond, originally directed on Broadway by Harold Prince, orchestrations by Jonathan Turick.
