The Greater Ponca City Provisional Rotary is holding a meet and greet event on Tuesday, May 23 from 6 pm to 7 pm at the City Central building at 400 E. Central Avenue.

The group is geared toward the greater Ponca City area including Blackwell, Tonkawa, Newkirk, Ponca City, and all surrounding communities. This new chapter seeks to continue the legacy of Rotary, which has had a deep connection in the region for over 100 years, for a new generation.

An experienced group of Rotary leaders have come together to create a group that seeks to bring together leaders from diverse backgrounds and provide them with the opportunity to meet with likeminded individuals to participate in service projects, and develop leadership skills.

The group is looking for charter members and plan to hold meetings beginning in the summer on the first and third Tuesdays of the month from 6 pm to 7 pm. The location of these meetings will vary based on the given project or speakers.
