On Saturday, July 11 from 9 a.m. to noon, the Doodle Academy and New Emergency Resource Agency are teaming up along with Provisions Coffeehouse and Eatery for an event where members of the community can work together and paint the mural on the back of Provisions.

Participants simply purchase a beverage to take part and paint this fun mural. Provisions is located at 312 E. Grand Ave. and all citizens are encouraged to bring a canned good to support NERA. Also, bring a lawn chair to the event if you would like to.

The mural is a design by local artist Red Dirt Rosie. She has a studio in the Royalty Building in downtown Ponca City.

“This is our vision for more community events. People I know or friends we have think they can’t do art, but creativity is for anybody and everybody, even if you haven’t touched a paintbrush, you can still do it! This is an opportunity to be a piece of the art and to be a part of the community coming together,” said artist Kortny Dylewski aka Red Dirt Rosie.
