At 7:18 am on Monday, May 8, a fatality collision occurred on S. Ranch Drive approximately 1/2 a mile north of W. Cowboy Hill Road, five miles south and one-and-ahalf miles west of Ponca City.

The exact cause of the collision is unknown, and what occurred is currently under investigation. But the vehicle involved was a 2004 Nissan Armada driven by Gabino Serralda (SIC), 24, of Ponca City. Serralda was pronounced deceased at the scene by Ponca City EMS with injuries to the head, internal and external trunk injuries, arms, and legs.
