The Poncan Theatre will be showcasing the Melody Hart and Family concert on Saturday, Feb. 25.

Branson star Melody Hart is a two time Female Vocalist of the Year and will be performing classic country music with her family. The proceeds will go toward the PC Noon Lions Club so they may continue to purchase eyeglasses, provide vision screenings, feed the homeless, provide diabetic supplies for school children in the Ponca City school system.

The show will also feature special guest comedian: Jarrett Dougherty.

Tickets are only $20 in advance and $25 at the door. The show begins at 7 pm and the doors will open at 6 pm. The concert is for all ages.

The Lion’s Club is also currently partnering with Brace Books in an effort to bring books to children in need. The Lions will be taking the collected books to children battling cancer, and they are hoping to have enough books so that each child can have their own to keep.

Brace Books will be offering 20% off any children’s book purchased for the child cancer patients at Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City. Those wishing to help in this endeavor should be sure to mention the Lions Club pediatric hospital project at checkout. This project will end on Tuesday, Feb. 28. For additional questions on the book project, contact Katrina Sinor, President of the PC Noon Lions Club, at (580) 628-1172.

For the concert, information and tickets can be fond on the Poncan Theatre website.
