Barbara was born May 11, 1949, in Ponca City, OK. She passed away January 19, 2024, in Ponca City, OK. Barbara was 74 years old. She was a resident of Kaw City, OK. Barbara was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Barbara grew up in Uncas, OK, where she made life long friends. She graduated in Greely, CO. Barbara then went to Winfield, KS, and studied nursing. While in Winfield, she met Jerry A. Palmer II. Barbara and Jerry then married on September 12, 1968. She moved to Tulsa, OK, then to Phoenix, AZ, and Odessa, TX. She eventually made her home in Kaw City, OK, with her husband and two sons. Barbara was a business owner in Shidler, OK, Palmer 66, and Lake Alignment in Kaw City, OK. Barbara was a strong woman with a big heart.

She is survived by two sons: Eric Palmer and wife Krystal Palmer of Tyrone, OK; David Palmer of Tupin, OK; a sister, Beverly French of Kaw City, OK, and a brother, James Ross and wife Renee of Witachi, Washington. Grandchildren: Tyler Palmer and wife Ashley Palmer, of Beaver, OK; Brady Palmer of Beaver, OK: Josie Huebner and husband Chase Huebner of Turpin, OK. Great-grandchildren: Tatum Grace Palmer, Conner Leroy Huebner, Teagan Paige Palmer, Cyzer Douglas Huebner, Holden Wayne Palmer, Banks Alton Palmer.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lena Ross, father Orrin Ross, brother Mike Ross, and great-grandchild Walker Joe Palmer.

Graveside services will be held at Grandview Cemetery, Kaw City, OK, on February 5 at 10 am.
