The handsome boy you see pictured is Foley. In April, Foley was found wondering up from the river looking to be in rough shape. On the verge of collapsing, Blackwell Animal Control Officers found him and gave him the attention that he needed. Now that he has been with them for sometime and is fully vetted, Foley is looking for his forever home. While his breed is somewhat of a mystery, Foley is 100% a good boy, which is all that really matters. Foley has never met a stranger and is friendly with everyone, and really everything, he has ever met. He loves people and dogs, almost as much as he loves water, which if you had ever met Foley, you would know that it is saying something. Foley is about 2 years old, rides in the car well, and walks decently on a leash. If you’re looking for your forever front seat rider or river buddy, Foley is your guy. Because of his long stay at the Blackwell Animal Shelter, a kind donator sponsored Foley, so his adoption fee is waived.

The mission for the Blackwell Animal Shelter, is simply to help the animals in unfortunate circumstances find a family that will fit with their needs and give them a happy life. This boy is the sweetest baby and he deserves a second chance at an amazing life. If you are looking for loyalty and love, unconditionally, Foley is ready to offer that to anyone who would give him that second chance. Call the Blackwell Animal Control at 580-363-5490 to schedule a meet and greet with this boy, or keep updated on the new animals that come into their care on their Facebook Page, Blackwell Oklahoma’s animal shelter up for adoption and strays on hold. Everyone deserves a second chance and the volunteers and workers that are currently caring for these animals all wish to find that for Foley.
