Newkirk Central Veterinary Services Available Pup

The North Central Veterinary Services in Newkirk are looking to find a home for a dog who was abandoned there. Iris, who seems to be a black Pit Bull Terrier, is a 2 year old pup who has experienced the bad side of humanity in her life. Iris was initially brought to the clinic with an injury to her back leg after being struck by a car. After rear leg was amputated and she was on her way to recovery, it became clear that her previous owner was not going to come back for her. This baffled the workers at the clinic because of just how incredible Iris is. She is great with dogs, people, and children, and even seems to be good around cats. She is the definition of a couch potato and loves to lay in the grass and sunbathe. Though she is an amputee, she hasn’t let that slow her down at all. She still is very excited to greet each person at the door as they come into the clinic. She is so incredibly sweet and loving and would make a great addition to any family.

Iris is up to date on all her vaccines, flea and tick medicine, has been spayed, and is heart worm negative. She is the perfect dog and now all she needs is a family to love her and keep her this time.

For any more information on her or to set up a meet and greet, you can call the clinic at 580-3623366.
