Blackwell Animal Shelter Spotlight

The beautiful girl you see here is Cookie. Cookie was an owner surrender that came to the Blackwell Animal Shelter looking to find her forever home. She was surrendered to no fault of her own. Cookie is incredibly sweet and loves everyone. She seems to get along great with other dogs and is just happy to be around people. As you can see, she loves treats and is a little on the chunky side, weighing in at about 65lbs. Since she is only 3 or 4 years old, Cookie still has a lot of life left, but isn’t as crazy as most puppies. Whether you guys spend your time playing fetch in the yard or snuggling up on the couch, Cookie is your girl. The mission for the Blackwell Animal Shelter, is simply to help the animals in unfortunate environments find a family that will fit with their needs and give them a happy life. This girl is the sweetest baby and she deserves a second chance at an amazing life.
