This week’s cat of the week is Ricky, a three year old domestic shorthair that has spent the last three months at the Northern Oklahoma Humane Society. This beautiful boy is such a loving cat. Ricky is the kind of cat that you will see trying to get your attention through the kennels so that you can pet him. His absolute favorite thing is getting attention. Ricky would choose to be pet over the option of a treat or toy. He loves people. That being said, Ricky can be a bit nervous in new environments, so he will have a bit of an adjustment period for his personality to really show. He is a calm, sweet, and loving cat that needs to find his forever home.

This week’s dog of the week is Seth, the three year old handsome boy who has stolen the hearts of the people at Northern Oklahoma Humane Society since he arrived in February. While its not very clear what exactly Seth is, the workers believe he is a shepherd mix of some kind. Regardless of his genetics, there is one thing for certain and that is that Seth is a certified good boy. Unfortunately, because Seth has a very big bark, many people think he is aggressive when they meet him. The minute they give him a chance though, he proves just how loving and sweet he is. Seth’s favorite thing to do is get treats and snuggle on the couch. He seems to be well mannered and he has a basic understanding and knowledge of commands, but those could easily be built upon because of his love of treats. During Seth’s photoshoot, there were puppies and cats brought into the same space as him and while he was curious, he seemed to have no desire to show any sort of aggression towards them. Seth would make a really great dog if people gave him the opportunity too.
