This year has been a different one for both Soroptimist International of Ponca City (SIPC) and Living Hope Pregnancy Center.

In past years Living Hope has held a dinner event with speaker and many SIPC members have attended. However, this year due to Covid Living Hope held a virtual event. Executive Director Ramona Ash reported that it was more successful than they expected, although not at the same level as the previous in-person banquets.

In past years SIPC has made a cash donation in addition to frequently donating gently used items. Thanks to the support the community has given to the many SIPC parking lot events where people make generous donations for items they want, SIPC was again able to give a $1000 donation to Living Hope.

Living Hope Pregnancy Center is a pregnancy resource center serving Northern Oklahoma. All services are provided at no cost to clients. All donations are tax deductible. They also provide clothing and other items for children ages newborn to two years.

SIPC is Ponca City’s only international service organization for professional women. Soroptimist improves the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment. Founded in 1921, Soroptimist is a global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment. Almost 100,000 Soroptimists in about 120 countries and territories contribute time and financial support to community-based projects benefiting women.
