Shelby C. Epperson, longtime resident of Ponca City, celebrated his 80th birthday on July 8, 2021.

He and his wife, Joyce (Neely) Epperson were married in 1966 and raised their family in Ponca City. Shelby worked his entire career in the car business where he made many friends in the community. He is now retired and lives with his wife in Missouri to be close to family. He has two sons, Charlie Epperson and Danny Epperson. He also has 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
