The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) held a come-andgo membership information event at the Top of Oklahoma Historical Museum in Blackwell on Saturday, April 15. The Daughters of the American Revolution is a nonprofit, nonpolitical women’s service organization dedicated preserving American history, securing America’s future through better education for children, and promoting patriotism. Any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution is eligible for membership.
