Couple celebrates 50 years

The children of Butch and Ruth Ann Lingenfelter would like to announce the 50th wedding anniversary of their parents.

Children Amy Ware of Stillwater, Rod Lingenfelter of Enid, and Ryan Lingenfelter of Austin, Texas will be honoring their parents with a reception on April 24th, 5:30 to 9:30 in the banquet room of Convention Hall in downtown Enid.

Butch and the former Ruth Ann Yates were married April 21, 1971 in the Methodist Church in Woodward, Oklahoma. Both are retired educators, having taught in Camargo, Woodward, Ponca City, Woodland, Enid, and Stillwater public schools.

The couple has three children, Amy, Rod, and Ryan. Six grandchildren, Cale and Michelle and Elanor. Tanner and girlfriend, Haleigh Childs, Tatum, Whitney, Jada and Tavin. One great granddaughter Elanor. One niece, Barbie Spore and Avery of Ponca City. One nephew Todd Canna Tucker and family of Edmond.

Mrs. Lingenfelter is the daughter of the late Vernon and Barbara Yates. Mr. Lingenfelter is the son of Loreta Dye of Camargo, OK, and the late Rod Lingenfelter.

The Lingenfelters are former residents of Ponca City.
