Stan and Denise Jones, of Ponca City, will celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary on August 9th.

Stan Jones and Denise Dew were married August 9, 1975, in Coffeyville, KS.

They made their first home in Coffeyville and later moved to Wichita, KS where they graduated from Wichita State University. They moved to Ponca City in 1981 when Mr. Jones took a position with Conoco. Stan retired from ConocoPhillips in 2012.

Denise retired in 2017 after teaching band for 26 years at First Lutheran School and 14 years at St. Mary’s School. They are members of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.

The couple have two children, Aaron & wife, Katie, and grandchildren Carson and Ellie, of Yukon, OK, and Leslie and grandson, Beau, of Charleston, SC.
