Ponca City’s Cayson Badley will be a member of the East All-State football team that plays in the annual Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State game.

Badley has accepted an invitation to join the team for the game which will be played July 29 at Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee.

Badley, an offensive lineman, has received a bunch of honors for his play in the 2021 football season with the Ponca City Wildcats, including being named Offensive Lineman of the year for Class 6AII-2.

About Badley earning a spot on the All-State team roster, Wildcat Coach Scott Harmon said, “Cayson started every high school football game he ever played in. His commitment to our program and work ethic are second to none. We are very proud of Cayson and his accomplishments both on and off the field.”

Badley has signed a letter of intent to play football next year at Northeastern Oklahoma State University in Tahlequah.
