Edward Andrew “Ed” Ruston, age 62, of Ponca City, Oklahoma passed away August 23, 2022, in Ponca City, Oklahoma.

Ed was born on November 1, 1959 in Stratford, Oklahoma, the only child to Arthur and Evelyn (Sigl) Ruston. Ed went to college at OSU in Stillwater to pursue a degree in journalism. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching sports on TV, especially football and listening to the Po Hi Wildcat football games on the radio. Ed also enjoyed watching Kenneth Copeland Ministries on television. Ed was special to many and he cared deeply about others. He was truly a very special and unique individual. Ed believed in helping others and he thought The Friendship Feast was very important to the community.

Ed is survived by his many cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Ed will be laid to rest in a private family service at Kingfisher Cemetery.
