In a study from the University of Illinois and Colorado State University, researchers found that the protein in plantbased burgers wasn’t digested as much as that found in meatbased burgers due to the concentration and digestibility of the amino acids.

WMS class creates food trucks

Students in Stacy Pinney’s Teen 2 class at West Middle School recently had the responsibility of grouping up and creating a food truck. Students had to completely design the truck, name the business, come up with a menu and stock the truck with specific food items, as well as the equipment needed to operate the truck.
