State receives first made-in-Oklahoma electric vehicles from Canoo

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – On December 29th, the State of Oklahoma received its first three made-in-Oklahoma electric vehicles from Canoo as an innovative part of the state’s ongoing fleet modernization initiative. At a combined cost of $119,850, these three Lifestyle Delivery Vehicles (LDVs) are the first of their kind in the state fleet, with one each assigned to the Office of Management and Enterprise Services, the Department of Transportation and the Department of Corrections.

States, Biden administration push efforts to aid renters, keep people housed

Oklahoma is among the states with the fewest rental housing programs in the U.S. Maine’s housing authority received $35 million in 2023 — the first time in 54 years it has received a direct appropriation from the state budget — to help build more affordable rental housing for communities that have struggled to keep up with high housing prices.
