A new art exhibit called “Seed Reef” will be installed in the John McNeese Gallery on the first floor of the City Central Building located at 400 E. Central. Seed Reef will be free and open to the public from Tuesday, Jan. 10 to Saturday, Feb. 18.

The Heather Cannon Wildcat of the Week #9 for the 2022-2023 school year was presented to Po-Hi senior Brian Fredricks. Superintendent Shelley Arrott said, “Brian is a very conscientious Wildcat who is 100 percent committed to doing his very best and according to everyone who knows him, his work-ethic is unmatched. He plays Wildcat tennis, participates in concurrent enrollment and even runs his own business! Without doubt, Brian is a leader on the tennis court, at work and in the classroom. Brian is a member of the National Honor Society and attended Boys State this past summer. He is a captain for Wildcat tennis, played in the #1 doubles spot for the Cats and was named All Conference as a sophomore and a junior.”
