WHAT’S AT STAKE

Oklahoma State remains the Big 12’s best Oklahoma State remains the Big 12’s best chance for the College Football Playoff and needs to stay unbeaten to remain there. A Texas win would be a blow for the league’s postseason hopes, but it would give the Longhorns a fighting chance at the conference title.

KEY MATCHUP

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Texas: Tight end Jared Wiley. The Longhorns eventually are going to use more of the 6-foot- 7, 255-pound sophomore and Saturday could be the perfect time to do it. Wiley has just six catches, but has shown an ability to sneak into soft spots for big gains. He’s averaging 24.5 yards per catch.

Oklahoma State: Chuba Hubbard. He’s the guy everyone is watching for the Cowboys. He ran for 121 yards and two scored against Texas last season but averaged just 3.3 yards per carry and twice got stuffed near the goal line. The Longhorns can get pushed around at the line a bit which could leave room for Hubbard to grind out a big game.
