Deborah Kay Nuckols Soutter, age 70, of Ponca City, Oklahoma, won the victory and went peacefully to be with our Lord and Savior on August 6th, 2022, due to a short battle with cancer.

Deborah was born February 12, 1952 in Ponca City to Jack and Betty (Risch) Nuckols. While her father was in the Air Force, she grew up attending school in Bermuda Islands, traveling many places with her family before moving back to Ponca City where she attended Ponca City High School and made it her home, raising two children, Jim Soutter and April Soutter Kelly.

Deborah worked (retired) at Titus/ASC for 45 years where she held many positions and had many fond memories of her work friends that she made through the years.

Deborah enjoyed watching her hummingbirds, gardening, and taking walks by the beach, collecting driftwood along the way, enjoying nature trail walks and walking her beloved dogs Lexi and Daisy May at Cann Gardens.

She is survived by her children, Jim and Shawney Soutter of Ponca City, April and Todd Kelly of Fairfax, grandchildren Lauren and Casey Wells, Logan and Alyssa Soutter, Jakob and Kelsey Fusselman, Baily and Jack Gonser, Taytum and Trista

Kelly. Great grandchildren Gage, Thomas, Peyton, Emry, Layton, Coalson and Charliegh Wells, Samuel and Kaylee Soutter, and several nieces and nephews.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Betty Nuckols, brother Scott Nuckols, and sister Sharon Nuckols; and niece Robin and granddaughter Tessa Kelly.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 27th at 10 am at Oddfellows Cemetery, 1206 S. Waverly St., Ponca City, OK.

Donations may be made to Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, Inc, of Ponca City (445 Fairview).
