For three Wednesdays in a row, Tonkawa Tribe has held art workshops for the youth. During these workshops, supplies were provided which gave each of the children in attendance had the opportunity to come up with their own native American themed art paintings to work on.

At the first art session, a total of 53 children attended to paint their own masterpieces. During the second workshop, there were several children as well. At the second workshop, the children finished the paintings they had been working on in preparation for the art exhibition they have planned for next Wednesday, June 21. The art exhibition will be held in the Tonkawa Tribal Gymnasium, where the children’s artwork will be displayed.

“The victim services booth will be set up with sign-in and the children’s art will be displayed around the building for all to look at. We want the children and their families to come out and see the work they have done, says the Tonkawa Tribe Victim Services Program Facebook page.
