Each year the Kay County Master Gardeners recognize an outstanding member of their organization. The Lifetime Gardener for the 2022 year is Linda Williamson of Kaw City, OK and was awarded at the December 2022 meeting. Linda has held multiple leadership positions and is always looking to help the organization and community.

Linda has been a member of the Kay County Master Gardner Program for over 20 years. In her time as a Master Gardener Linda has served as Vice President, Secretary, chaired multiple committees, and served on multiple committees. Linda and her husband John are also active in the Kay County Soil Conservation Service. At her home and property in Kaw City she practices habitat management, managing fruit and ornamental trees, and vegetable gardening. Please join the Kay County OSU Extension office, and Kay County Master Gardeners in congratulating Mrs. Linda Williamson.
