HANDBELL CONCERT TO BE HELD Prairie Carillon, the newly formed northern Oklahoma’s community handbell choir, will be presenting a concert of Patriotic music on July 2nd at 6:00pm in the sanctuary of First Christian Church located at 210 N. 5th St. in Ponca City. Joining the choir will be the Federated Music Club Ukulele group who will present a set of Cowboy Ballads. This will be a great way to begin your Fourth of July holiday! Public is invited and there is no charge.

NOC HOSTS REACH HIGHER EVENT Northern Oklahoma College is hosting a Reach Higher Connect event at NOC Tonkawa, NOC Enid, and the University Center in Ponca City.

NOC has partnered with Reach Higher to offer degree programs that help prepare adult learners for careers in areas on Oklahoma’s 100 Critical Occupations List. Courses are offered in traditional classroom, online, or live-online options. Walk-ins are welcome.

The information session schedule is as follows: NOC Tonkawa: June 20, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

University Center in Ponca City: June 20, 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

NOC Enid: June 21, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

PCPS SUMMER FEEDING PROGRAM Ponca City Public Schools will be participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to the children without charge ages 1-18 and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis, at the sites and times as follows: Dine In Only; Open Site

Union Breakfast 7:45-8:15 Lunch 10:45-11:45 June 6-29; Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays Closed Mondays and Fridays ** Restricted Open Site: Restrict or limit the feeding sites attendance for reasons of space, security, safety, or control. Site is open on a first-come, first-serve basis to all children of the community at large, but meal service will be limited as stated above** All meals will be served and consumed at each site location. Adults wishing to eat with their children may purchase a meal ($2.75 for breakfast and $4.85 for lunch).

FIRST LUTHERAN SCHOOL SUMMER FOOD SERVICE PROGRAM FIRST LUTHERAN SCHOOL is participating in the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), which provides nutritious meals at no charge to Children during the summer vacation. Children ages 1 - 18, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, are eligible to receive meals through SFSP. A person 19 years of age and over who has a mental or physical disability (as determined by a state or local education agency) and who participates during the school year in a public or private, non-profit school program (established for the mentally and physically disabled) is also eligible to receive meals. Meals will be provided at the sites and times as follows: First Lutheran School, Operating May 23 to Aug 11, 2023. Operating days of the week: Mon - Fri 1104 N. 4TH, PONCA CITY, OK, 74601. Lunch from 11:00-12:15. Dine-in only. Closed: May 29 (Memorial Day), July 4, and August 8, 2023 Adults will be charged $4.50; Senior citizens and military adults with identification will be charged $3.50.
