The Magic Tree House, or more specifically the fourth book in the Magic Tree House series, will be brought to life on the Poncan Theatre stage this weekend from Friday, Feb. 16 until Sunday, Feb. 18.

OSU music theatre students present an afternoon of Rodgers and Hammerstein

On February 25th, Ponca City Federated Music Club presents OSU Opera students performing Rodgers & Hammerstein Revue titled “A Grand Night For Singing”. The concert will take place at the Carlolyn Refro Center 445 Fairview Ave. Ponca City. The concert is free and open to the public. It starts at 2 p.m. and following the performance, the audience will have the opportunity to meet the performers and enjoy the reception.

LOS ANGELES — Toby Keith was mourned by fans and his fellow country musicians Tuesday after his family announced that the “Should’ve Been a Cowboy” singer died Monday at 62 after being diagnosed with stomach cancer. The musician, who announced in June 2022 that he had been battling cancer for months, was praised for his songwriting ability, patriotism, gruff attitude and larger-than-life persona, as well as his support for the American military, veterans and the USO.
