TULSA -- The Ponca City Wildcat swimmers were the winners of Tuesday’s Tulsa Union Invitational meet. They earned the victory in a 50 freestyle shootout with Tanner Estes, Jessalyn Carpenter, Timothy Crank, Mattie Shearer and Kyle King swinning the five-legs of the shootout.

Nov. 3—This wasn’t the way the season was supposed to go for either of the two preseason favorites in the Big 12.

CHOCTAW -- Ponca City’s five-game winning streak came to an end Thursday night as the Choctaw Yellowjackets posted a 42-13 victory over the Wildcats. Thursday’s game was the final regular season game for both teams.
