Dwight Dawson Buffalo Head, Thiumba Zhinga, a member of the Hisada Clan, was born on October 15, 1948 to Roy Buffalo Head and Dorothy Blueback Buffalo Head in Pawnee, Oklahoma. He entered Heaven’s heavenly gates on Sunday, September 3, 2023.

Mary Jeanne Brown, 92, of Ponca City, OK left this world for a better place on August 28, 2023. Viewing will take place from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM, Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at Trout Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at Trout Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark Busch officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Roy L. Case, 86, Hays, Kansas, passed away Monday, August 28, 2023, at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kansas.

Bonnie Arlene Gray, longtime Ponca City resident, died peacefully surrounded by her children on Sunday, August 27. She was 89.

Juan Lee Jones, age 64, twenty year resident of Bartlesville, OK, passed away on August 8, 2023 at home. Juan was born October 10, 1958 in Ponca City, OK, to Clifton Crawford and Betty Jones.

Brandon “Bsweezy” Carson, resident of Ponca City, OK, passed away at the age of 34 on August 16th, 2023 at St Francis hospital in Tulsa, OK. Brandon was born January 28th 1989 in Ponca City to Jeff Carson and April Ables. Brandon attended and graduated from Ponca City High School in 2008, where he played baseball and built relationships with many people who were fortunate to have known him as a friend.
