Raymond Espinosa, a resident of Ponca City, passed away October 27, 2023 in an Enid hospital at the age of 65. Ray died of complications from congested heart failure, a stroke and pneumonia.

Raymond attended Po Hi School in Ponca City and graduated in 1976. He owned his own tile company, CUSTOM DESIGNS, working with ceramic tile, marble, slate installation, plus he did remodeling and repairs. After graduation, Ray moved to Houston, Texas for about three years; then he moved to California for several years. He returned to Ponca City and made it his home again. Ray was an avid pool player, competing in Championships with his friends in surrounding areas. He also participated in dart competitions playing for the MOOSE Lodge in Ponca City. Ray was a member of the SMOK’N AMIGOS TEAM, who participated in the Cherokee Strip’s annual cook-off competition for several years.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Conda Espinosa, and one brother, Eligius (Tony) Espinosa. He is survived by his brothers Matthew Espinosa, of Wichita, KS; Albert (Barbara Sue)Espinosa of Ponca City, OK; Paul (Barbara Jane) Espinosa, of Lincoln, NB; sisters Patricia (Douglas) Espinosa Jantz, of Houston, TX; and Catherine (Gary) Espinosa Ollenburg, of Bristol, TN.; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Per Ray’s request, there will be no services nor funeral.
