Bret “Chuck” Bachar Sr., of Ponca City, Oklahoma; NASCAR fan, fisherman, master carpenter, and lover of the lake and everything boating, was called to heaven last Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at the age of 63. His unexpected death will be felt by many.

Chuck’s wicked sense of humor, practical jokes, and his big heart will be missed by his friends and most of all his family. His idea of the best time was to simply play washers in his backyard listening to Bob Seger and throwing back a few Bud Lights while knocking the socks off his wife, kids, or grandkids and laughing while he did it. He was a man that loved a good laugh and appreciated the simple things in life. As such did not want the fuss of a funeral service or to be remembered in that way.

He will be thought of and missed every moment of every day by his loving wife Bonnie “Bon Bon” Bachar, his daughter Tiffanie “Punkie” Bachar and her kids Ethan and Naomi Berg, his son Bret “Bub” Bachar Jr and his son Bret Bachar III. He will be remembered and missed by his big brothers Monty and Al “Alfie” Bachar, and his doting mother Eleanor “Ellie” Bachar.
