Wesley Albert Green passed away on Thursday, April 28th, 2022, at the age of 78, in Houston, Texas.

Wes was born on January 1st, 1944, in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Lewis and Edna (Essary) Green. He was a 1962 graduate of Ponca City High School and later earned his Bachelors Degree from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. In June 1965, Wes married his high school sweetheart, Jan Carden. They were married for 55 years and had two children, Wendy and Brian.

Wes began his 29 year career with Conoco Oil Company in the Accounting Department in Ponca City, Oklahoma and was transferred to Houston, Texas in 1980. After retirement, Wes and Jan were able to realize their dream of living on Lake Conroe in Montgomery, Texas. Once there, Wes began a second career with Keller Williams Realty as an agent and then as a financial coordinator.

Wes was a life-long golfer and was pleased to be able to say that he made two holein-ones while enjoying his favorite sport. When he was younger, he was a wrestler in high school and he also enjoyed playing baseball, basketball, and volleyball in his church league. Wes and Jan loved to travel and especially enjoyed their time together living on the lake.

Wes is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and Mike McCullough; his grandchildren, Michelle and Scott McCullough; his sister, Louise Lemke; his brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Carol Green; sister-in-law, Anna Maria Green; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Pat and Kenny Perkey; nieces and nephews.

Wes was preceded in death by his wife, Jan Green; his son, Brian Green; his brother, Jerry Green; his brotherin-law, Delwyn Lemke; his nephews Johann Green and Del Lemke; and his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
