Patricia Ann Darrough, A retired secretary of the American Postal Workers Union and 44 year resident of Mt. Hope, Kansas passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at the age of 74.

Patricia is preceded in death by her mother; Ethel Gish and her father; Nicholas Kempenich.

Patricia is survived with great sorrow by her loving husband of 57 years; David. Her children; Tammy Darrough, David (Maranda) Darrough, Debbie (Andy) Mullins, Kevin (Rachael) Darrough and Gregory Darrough. Siblings Gerald (Barbara) Kempenich, Eddie Kempenich, Marita Sturgeon, Nicholas Kempenich and Lavonda Kempenich. 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Patricia was known for being a generous, sweet lady who enjoyed gardening, fishing, decorating and spending time with family.

Such a beautiful person, she will be missed. A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Wulf-Ast Mortuary--Mt. Hope Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2022 at the Grand View Cemetery in Kaw City, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent in Patricia’s name to the Salvation Army 350 N. Market Wichita, Kansas 67202.
