July 1, 1956 — April 29, 2024

Michael Fagg was born on July 1, 1956 in Ponca City. He passed from this life on April 29, 2024 at the age of 67.

He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather (Pops/Popsy). Michael and Tricia were married on September 25, 1976 at First Lutheran Church in Ponca City, OK. They were joyously blessed with two sons, Brady and Barry.

Mike’s career endeavors included Underground Construction Company in Tulsa, OK. Moving back to Ponca City, he became Maintenance Manager at Continental Carbon Company. His hard work, leadership, and dedication earned him a reputation for excellence. Together, he and Tricia founded 4-F Construction Company, along with Brady and Barry. With his leadership, 4-F Construction Company grew into a successful business known for quality work and commitment to customer satisfaction. He cherished every moment, teaching his sons all along the way. His leadership, success, and his entrepreneurial spirit allowed them continued achievement. Much of his work was affirmed with a handshake and integrity. Mike took great pride in being a role model for his cherished family. As time passed, it allowed him and Barry the opportunity to work in many areas in Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Arizona, and most recently in Texas. Together, “they were a team,” combining resourcefulness and ingenuity. He will be remembered as a role model, for his kindness, and for warm smiles passed along through generosity to his family, employees, and friends, with whom he stayed connected throughout his career.

Mike enjoyed spending lots of time outdoors on the farm, raising cattle and horses. He loved and cherished being a father and grandfather, compassionately teaching those he loved. In his adventures, he was always participating from the sidelines for his family through FFA program, baseball, and rodeo, always ready to volunteer his time, equipment, and expertise.

Michael was preceded in death by: his mother Barbara (Fagg) Mieir and stepfather Don Mieir; his father Charles Fagg; his grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

Michael is survived by: his wife Tricia Fagg; his son Brady Fagg, his children Elizabeth and Marshall, and their mother Karly Fagg; his son Barry Fagg and wife Cheyanne, their children Libby and Lucchese; his sister Linda Countryman (late husband Mark); sister Tanya Pfadenhauer (husband Ron); sister Sheryl Lindley (husband John); many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service to honor Mike will be held on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at 9 am at Longwood Cemetery, Ponca City, Oklahoma.

Mike loved children. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Toby Keith Foundation, a project providing assistance to children and their families. Donations can be made online by visiting tobykeithfoundation.org, or checks can be mailed to Toby Keith Foundation, 818 NE 8th St., Oklahoma City, OK, 73104.

Michael’s legacy will live on through the memories he made and the lives he touched. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
