Kenneth “Ken” R. Jarboe was born February 12, 1952, in Wellington, KS. and went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 13, 2022, after a long and hard-fought battle against cancer.

Ken was the son of Ralph and Darlene Jarboe of Arkansas City, KS. Ken graduated from Arkansas City, Kansas High School in 1970 and went on to pursue several careers over his lifetime. In his early years he worked for Rodeo Meat Packing Co., Skyline Escapades, and Santa Fe Railroad. He was also a self-employed carpenter and in his later years he worked as a car salesman where he had the opportunity to use his vast knowledge of automobiles.

Ken enjoyed spending time with his family and was extremely proud of his children, grandchildren, and extended family. He was outgoing, never met a stranger and was highly thought of by all who crossed his path.

Ken is survived by his first love and high school sweetheart Sylvia Bryant. They separated at 16 years old and found each other again in their 40’s. He was a car and motorcycle enthusiast and loved to take road trips with Sylvia where they could enjoy the outdoors and freedom of riding his Harley Davidson.

Ken is also survived by his beloved family members: son Chad Jarboe, daughter Angie Esposito and her husband Josh, brother Terry Jarboe and his wife Debbie, sister Jeani Pool, sister Cindy Treadway and her husband Roger, and sister Christy Eagan, his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many other extended family members.

The family will be having a celebration of life to be announced on facebook at a later date.
