It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our loving husband and father, Don Rigdon. After a valiant fight against esophageal cancer, he passed peacefully Saturday, February 3, 2024 surrounded by his family, wife Kerry Rigdon, son Jackson Rigdon, daughter McKenna and her husband Drew Fly. He will be sorely missed – as a loving husband, father, son, friend, wine enthusiast, and OU’s biggest fan. He was a 1979 graduate of Blackwell High School, OU 1982, Navy 1989, and NBA 1993.

In accordance with his wishes, we won’t hold a memorial service, but we would appreciate your prayers for him and the family.

Preceded in death by his mother Kathryn Gray Rigdon, his father William “Bill” Rigdon. Grandparents Kathleen and Maurice Rigdon, Annabelle Jewett, Plano, TX.

Alone with his immediate family he leaves behind his bothers Dale and Jim Rigdon, sister Kathryn Nell Lynch, stepmother Louise Rigdon, AND many family members.
