Diana Gail Sullivan Knapp died peacefully at home with her family by her side on May 22, 2022. Diana was born January 7th, 1949, to Ed and Elma Dean Sullivan of Ponca City, Oklahoma. She grew up in Ponca City where she attended Ponca City public schools and graduated in 1967. Diana graduated from NOC in 1994 with an associate of sociology. She graduated from OSU in 1996 with a bachelor of sociology. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Knapp of Bartlesville, OK and her children Tracy Porter, Melissa (Will) Wyler, Kimberley (Scott) Studaker, Candice (Kevin) Kemble, Gina (Mark) Knapp, Jason Knapp, Brandon (Angela) Knapp, 23 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Diana was director at the Child Development Center from 1979 to 1991. She was a social worker for OKDHS from 1996 to 2015.

Together Diana and Dennis enjoyed watching tv, crafting and woodworking, Sonic drink runs or getting Braums malts. They also loved taking care of their dogs and cats, spending time with their children and grandchildren. You could often find them at their grandchildren’s school events and birthday celebrations.

Diana is preceded in death her parents, Veronica Lincoln (niece), John Sullivan(nephew), Bob Lee (brother-in-law).

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, May 28 2:00 at the Carolyn Renfro Event Center, 445 Fairview Ave, Ponca City. Family and close friends are invited to share a meal before at 12:00, same location.
