Cloie Mae (Robins) Ball died on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at her home in Ponca City.

She was born May 22, 1935 to William Franklin and Lula Belle (Cantrell) Robins in Roff, OK. She was the youngest of five siblings with three brothers, Rual, Ellis, and Carthel, and one sister, Cleta. On January 7, 1955, she married William Harold Ball in Washington, OK. To this union, they had two sons, Carlton Lynn Ball and Robert Ladell Ball, and adopted daughter, Susan Yvonne Spears.

Cloie graduated from Washington High School and attended Drawns School of Business. After school, she enjoyed farm life, taking care of chickens, cows, canning jellies and pickles, making candies, and gardening. She also was a bookkeeper for many years and an office manager for Federal Land Bank in Ponca City. Cloie and William were long time members of the Second Baptist Church for almost 60 years, where she was active in volunteering with counting the offerings and helped with deposits.

Cloie will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Lula Robins; brothers Rual Robins, Ellis Robins, and Carthel Robins; and sister Cleta Aday; and son Carlton Lynn Ball.

Cloie is survived by her husband William Harold Ball; son Robert Ladell Ball and wife Jenifer of Ponca City; adopted daughter Susan Yvonne Spears of Ponca City; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 1:00 PM, at Second Baptist Church, 1112 W Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601.
