Dr. Dale Smith, founder of American Kid Talent Search and writer of the official Oklahoma Waltz, and Tim Muniz, formerly from Ponca City, who has been called one of the best vocalists in America, will be here at the Poncan Jubilee.

The Poncan Jubilee is April 30 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $15.00 for adults and $5.00 for children under 12. They can be purchased at the theatre or online at Poncantheatre.org\tickets, and at the Chamber of Commerce.

The Jubilee is a variety show featuring country, fifties, and spiritual music, a ventriloquist, dance and comedy. It will be an uplifting, fun, and fast moving evening of entertainment.

Dr. Dale Smith, who now resides in Branson, is traveling to Ponca to add his talent gift to the Poncan Jubilee. Dale holds five college degrees and has worked with children’s music for decades. Dale is the composer of Oklahoma Wind, the official state waltz of Oklahoma, and “You’re Doin’ Fine Oklahoma,” which was the Diamond Jubilee theme song. Also, Dr. Dale composed “Oklahoma’s Will,” the National Will Rogers Centennial theme song. He will be singing in the Jubilee.

Dale has produced shows in Branson and Silver Dollar City as well as performing in various shows there. He is the founder of American Kid Talent Search, the little league of entertainers. Tony award winner Kristin Chenoweth was an American Kid along with hundreds of other kids.

Dr. Dale is the Singing Ambassador of Oklahoma, a Senate Resolution, founder of Raising America, the musical, and has had lead roles in many musicals. His projects with kids was to teach patriotism in youth, anti-drugs, and good virtues using entertainment as the vehicle.

Tim Muniz began singing at a very young age. When he was five years old, he was traveling to different states singing at churches with his family (Voices of Tomorrow). He performed in several competitions growing up including American Kids, Reach for the Stars, and several others. He became a published songwriter at the age of 16 and began recording and singing nationally at that age.

Throughout Tim’s life, he has recorded and performed on stage and in recording studios across the United States. In 2014 Tim produced the documentary Music Matters (Killswitch), a film that was intended to change the music industry’s way of thinking. He was also the producer of Sunday Go-To Meeting in Branson at the Branson Comedy Festival. Tim is now the CEO of CSC in Cleveland, Oklahoma. He also runs Cleveland Stage Centre.

His most recent work includes his traveling show Tim Muniz’s American SongBook. He is now assisting Artists Rights Alliance in writing curriculum for universities. He is in the process of working on an album, An Unlived Life, that will be complete this summer.
