Burbank First Baptist Church News

When a key individual in the church had an accident, breaking the tibia in his right leg, our church family stepped up. He was our janitor, lawn mower specialist, and adult Sunday school teacher. One of our youngest members said she would do the janitor work. A young man who loves to mow lawns said he would like to mow our lawn and weed eat for the church. The backup Sunday school teacher, the Pastor, said he could fill the position until recovery is successful. We say it often and it is worth repeating: God is good, all the time, and, all the time, God is good, because that is His nature. All who attends Burbank First Baptist Church consider it a joy to do whatever needs to be done to provide resources that reveals how much they love being a part of a fellowship that points others to the Gospel message. For over 80 years those who have attended Burbank First Baptist have responded to the clarion call that the Lord placed in their life to share the Good News of Jesus Christ to anyone who desired to find a peace the passes all human understanding. Many will find it hard to believe but the area that our fellowship covers is over 50 miles from Pawhuska to Kildare-Newkirk area. In a time when fuel costs are still being higher than we all would like, people still find a way to come and worship in a church where that can feel loved and fed with a message from God’s Word. My friends in a time when there is so much uncertainty from world events, people need the Lord. These world events have resulted in turmoil on many of our college campuses and larger metropolitan areas. I believe it would be wise for people to remember who to turn to for peace and grace. With so many congregations dwelling in attendance it is time to reverse the trend. Attend the church of your choice soon. I will make a world a difference in your life.
