Women Artists of the West to be featured at Woolaroc Museum

Woolaroc Museum and Wildlife Preserve is not a destination that is unfamiliar to the Ponca City News. We have explored in depth the incredible history and entertainment that the location still offers today. To recap, Woolaroc Museum and Wildlife Preserve, before it went by that name, was built in 1925 from the dream of Frank Phillips and his mission to preserve the history of the west, all while educating and entertaining future generations. This 3,700 acre preserve, home to native animal species, as well as those who are not so native, also includes a museum and an incredible art gallery that holds close ties to Ponca City.

School and local dealerships partner for Driver’s Ed program

Ponca City Public Schools, School Board Members, Ponca City High School, and Stuteville Chevy/GMC and Stuteville Ford are excited to partner to provide a Driver’s Education summer program for Ponca City High School students. Stuteville Chevy/GMC and Stuteville Ford have graciously leased two vehicles to the school at $1 per car for the first year to promote the program.
