With 2023 on the horizon, the Poncan Theatre has several events coming up in January.

2022 was a milestone in many ways for the Poncan with the theatre turning 95-years old on Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2022. The Poncan also replaced all the deteriorating seats from the 1960s. As of Aug. 31, 2022, all theatre seats have been replaced. The facility is still home to 714 stationary theatre chairs with four additional spaces for wheelchairs. All guests can now experience fresh seating and, for the first time in the theatre’s history, cupholders.

The following are several of the events planned for January: - DC League of Superpets on Jan. 3 at 2 pm and 7 pm - The Outsiders screenings on Jan. 6 at 7 pm and 9:30 pm - Freaky Friday the Musical starts on Jan. 13th - Miss Ponca City & Miss Heartland competitions for ages 4 to 25 are Jan. 27 and Jan. 28 - Johnny Rogers’ History of Rock concert is on Jan. 29 at 3 pm For more information and how to get tickets, visit at PoncanTheatre.org.
