Three Wildcats receive All-Star honors
Three members of the 2021 Ponca City Wildcat football team have been named to the Oklahoma Coaches Association All-Star team for Class 6A.
Those receiving the honors were Nate Collins, Devin Zimmerschied and Cayson Badley. Collins is a 6-foot-3, 305 pounder who was named as a defensive lineman. Zimmerschied is 5-9, 171 pounds and was chosen as a defensive back. Badley is a 6-5, 305 pounder, and was named as an offensive lineman.
The OCA All-Star selections are done by class and divided into East and West teams. The three from Ponca City were named to the Class 6A East team. The OCA also names an All-State team which isn’t divided into classes.
Scott Harmon is the Ponca City head coach.
