BIXBY -- Freshman Sutton Reynolds qualified for the Class 6A Boys State Tennis Tournament during action in Monday’s Regional.

Reynolds earned the spot, competing in No. 2 Singles.

The varsity tennis team participated as a group in the Regional. Those playing were Jude Stinton, No. 1 Singles; Reynolds, No. 2 Singles; Brian Fredericks and Asher Scantlin, No. 1 Doubles; and Jonathon Vickery and Harrison Poet, No. 2 Doubles.

Vickery and Poet were in the fourth and final match in the Regional, with the winner advancing, but they were edged out.

Boys Head Coach Lynne Collenbeck and Reynolds will leave Thursday for the Oklahoma City Tennis Center, where state competition will take place on Friday and Saturday
