Seneca Michelle Campbell Jones (Tappy) passed peacefully and went to be with her Lord on September 21, 2023. She was sixty-six years old.

Seneca was born on December 3, 1956 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. She was born to Floyd McKinley Campbell and Aletha McClellan Campbell and was the youngest of six.

She attended school in Ponca City, graduating from Ponca City High School in 1975. Seneca welcomed her first born, Rasheem Revels in 1977, followed by a second son Kristopher Shores in 1980. In 1984 she married Norman Jones and gained a step-daughter, Lishall Rabb. In 1985 she welcomed a daughter, Micaela Jones, and in 1990 another daughter Mariah Jones Abraham.

Seneca was known for her love of baking and her habit of feeding everyone, including any stray cat that she came across. She was an avid reader and she loved word searches. If asked she would say that her greatest achievement was her children and her family, and she was fierce in her love for them.

Seneca was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Aletha Campbell, sisters Linda Speight, Sondra Washington, and Tamara Watson.

Seneca is survived by her husband, Norman Jones, sons Rasheem Revels and Kristopher Shores, and daughters Micaela Jones, Mariah Abraham and Lishall Rabb. Granddaughters Ayanna Revels, Lailah Revels, Logan Nesmith, Cniyah Rabb, Cyncere Brown, Brooklynn Brown and Jones Abraham. Grandsons Rasheem Shores, Khari Shores, and Camronn Smith. Brother Floyd Campbell Jr and sister Connie Lockett, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and loved ones.

A memorial service will be held at Ponca City Assembly 2313 E Prospect Ave, Ponca City, OK 74604 on October 14, 2023 at 2:00 pm.
