Lori Lee Taylor, born on October 19, 1965, in Ponca City, OK, peacefully passed away on January 6, 2024. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Lori’s exceptional mind and dedication to education made her an exceptional student. She formed lifelong friendships wherever she went, leaving a lasting impact on those around her.

Lori had a unique perspective on life, always looking at it with purity and uniqueness. However, she also had a mischievous side, often being as ornery as her little sisters. Her love for her nephews, Jacy, Casey, and Cody, and her niece, Taylor, knew no bounds.

Lori will be deeply missed by her parents, Rick and Linda Taylor, her sister Crystal Taylor, her sister Jodi Taylor, as well as several aunts, uncles, and many cousins. She had a wide circle of friends, including Ricky Anderson, Cody Owens, Carolyn and Bobby Walker, and Willow Nimmo, among many others.

In her educational journey, Lori attended Liberty Elementary in Ponca City, OK, Stillwater High School, and later went on to graduate from Norman North High School. Lori also attended the J.D. McCarty Center for Cerebral Palsy Rehab in Norman, OK, for 12 years, where she received valuable support. She also took classes at the University of Oklahoma.

Throughout her life, Lori defied expectations and was always gainfully employed despite her disabilities. Her dream job was with Apple Inc., which she fulfilled by working from home.

Lori was preceded in death by her grandparents, Douglas and Bessie Young, Norman and Dolores Taylor, and her nephew Casey McCandless.

Private services will be held at a later date to honor and remember Lori’s life. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
